M1 Volleyball is excited to offer specialized Positional Academies this season for players who want to elevate their skills in a focused and competitive environment.

All sessions will be held at Summit High School Gym and are open to players grades 6–8 and grades 9–12, grouped by skill level and experience.

Academy Dates, Sundays:

• July 20

• August 3

• August 17

• September 7

• September 21

• October 12

• October 19

Available Academies

Players will select their position-specific academy upon registration:

 Libero Academy

• Serve receive technique and posture

• Advanced defensive movement

• Reading hitters and coverage responsibilities

• Communication and leadership in the backcourt

Setting Academy

• Footwork and hand position fundamentals

• Tempo training for multiple offenses

• Decision making and setter IQ

• Leadership and court command

Outside Attacker Academy

• Transition footwork and attacking from all zones

• Reading the block and hitting smart

• Serve receive responsibilities

• Back row attack and ball control

Middle Hitter Academy

• Fast-tempo attacking and transition work

• Blocking footwork, vision, and timing

• Quick decision-making at the net

• Reading setters and offensive systems
